Press Release: CALENDAR SPONGE DEBUTS AT THE 2013 INTERNATIONAL HOME + HOUSEWARES SHOW

“When was the last time you replaced your sponges? Do you know? Many people either don’t know how long they’ve been using their sponges or they don’t realize their dirty kitchen sponges are the #1 source of household germs. When used for more than 30 days, kitchen sponges become contaminated and pose serious health risks such as spreading e. coli and dangerous bacteria. We invented Calendar Sponge to help you remember to change your sponges every month.”

“After researching the health risks posed by dirty sponges, we quickly recognized the importance of sponge sanitization and understood why it is so important to replace your sponges every month. We also identified a business opportunity, patented our design and invented Calendar Sponge.”

The Nastiest Item in Your Kitchen & Calendar Sponge Review

According to experts like Dr.OZ, even when taking such precautions [as sanitizing], sponges still need to be changed once every 30 days. Germs tend to hide in all those small crevices. But, if you are anything like me, you probably have a hard enough time remembering all the other tasks around the house that need to be completed. But don’t worry. That’s where the Calendar Sponge comes in. A year’s worth of sponges come in one package and ready for your use!

Do Your Sponges Need a Calendar?

I have good intentions. My plan is to use one sponge for the kitchen for about a month. In reality, I use the sponge until it’s too gross to use anymore anywhere and then I throw it away and buy a new one. I really like having the reminder printed on the sponge! I tried Calendar Sponge for one month and it’s a good quality sponge that cleans well and I like having a year’s supply at hand. When I’m done with these, will I buy another year’s worth? You betcha! It’s a great idea and works well for me.
